Ironbark RoadDeck — Hard-Bottom Dog Car Hammock

The hard bottom was definitely worth paying extra for. I notice the difference every single drive.

Our two smaller dogs share it and there's heaps more usable room. It basically turns the whole rear area into one flat space.

The base is firm but there is still enough padding on top. Good balance between support and comfort.

I bought this after my dog slipped into the footwell on a sudden stop. Much safer feeling setup now.

The best part is when cornering. My dog isn't constantly bracing himself anymore because the surface doesn't sag.

Very handy if you have a big dog. Gives them more actual floor space instead of just the width of the seat.

Love the concept and it works. The only reason for 4 stars is the first install took a bit of fiddling in my car.

Pretty impressed. It sits flatter than I expected and the side coverage is decent too.

My border collie used to pace around and slip between the seats. With this he has a proper platform and seems much calmer.

Bought it mainly to protect the seats but the extra stable floor is probably my favourite part.

Setup was straightforward and it fits nicely behind the front seats. So far no scratches or marks underneath either.

Great for road trips. Dog can stand, turn around and lie down without the cover collapsing underneath him.

It has made keeping the car clean much easier and I like that the dog can't push the middle section down between the seats.

Would recommend for anyone with a larger breed. The normal hammocks just never felt stable enough for us.

Good fit in the back of my wagon. One strap was a little tight at first but overall really happy.

It looks neat in the car and doesn't feel cheap. I expected the hard base to be bulky but it's actually pretty easy to remove.

My dog is a nervous traveller and having a flat stable base seems to help. She lies down much sooner now.

Solid product. I especially like that the footwell gap is basically gone, which was always the sketchy part with our old hammock.

Been using it for a few weeks now and it hasn't shifted around. Dog hair, sand and muddy paws are all staying off the actual seats.

The cover itself feels tough and the boards underneath make a massive difference. Our shepherd is about 34kg and it holds him fine.

Surprisingly sturdy and the dog has much more room to stretch out. Also catches most of the dirt after the beach.

Really good for a heavy dog. The softer hammock we had before sagged badly between the seats, this doesn't.

Fits our SUV well and the base feels sturdy under a 38kg dog. Exactly what I wanted for longer drives.
