These Terms of Service apply when you access ironbarkpetco.com.au or purchase products from Ironbark Pet Co. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Products and information

We aim to keep product descriptions, images, pricing and availability accurate. Colours and appearance can vary slightly between screens and normal production batches. Measurements and compatibility information are provided to help you assess suitability, but you remain responsible for checking that a product is appropriate for your intended use.

Orders and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website and applicable charges are shown at checkout. After you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation. We may cancel or decline an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, pricing or listing information contains an obvious error, payment cannot be processed, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the affected amount will be refunded.

Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy and returns are governed by our Refund Policy. Those policies form part of these terms. Any voluntary return promise is additional to, and does not replace, your statutory consumer rights.

Safe and appropriate product use

You are responsible for using products in accordance with their instructions, their intended purpose and applicable laws. Products designed to protect vehicle upholstery or improve a pet's comfort in a vehicle are not a substitute for any legally required pet restraint, child restraint, seat belt or other vehicle safety equipment unless we expressly state that a product is certified for that purpose. Supervise pets where appropriate and stop using a product if it becomes damaged in a way that could make continued use unsafe.

Information on our website is general product information and is not veterinary, medical, legal or vehicle-safety advice.

Website use and intellectual property

You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, use it for unlawful purposes, or copy or commercially exploit our branding, original content or other intellectual property without permission.

Third-party services

Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party services for payments, delivery, analytics, customer reviews and other store functions. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party websites that are not operated by us.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by misuse of a product, failure to follow supplied instructions, unauthorised modification, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in this section limits any consumer guarantee or other right that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our store, services or legal requirements. The version published on the website at the time of your order applies to that order unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia, together with applicable Commonwealth laws. This does not prevent you from relying on any mandatory rights available to you under the law that applies to you.
